Forget a traditional team. This SSO project was a volunteer effort, driven by individuals who craved a challenge, amidst their regular workloads.
In a race against time, we traded a traditional, meticulous design process for an agile sprint. We threw together a basic PRD, rapidly sketched user flows in FigJam, and dove straight into high-fidelity screens, bypassing the usual wireframing stage. While this "build-test-refine" approach shaved off precious days, it meant sacrificing the rigor of "validate-iterate-build." Despite the potential for rework, this unorthodox method delivered a functional prototype at breakneck speed, allowing for early user feedback and quick fixes. While acknowledging the time-saving benefits, it's important to recognize the inherent risks and strive for a balanced approach in future projects, prioritizing both efficiency and thoroughness.
